Softening Hard Hearts

So just as we, were so forgiven;
Receive forgiveness, a new heart;
Release resentments, all our hatred;
We must forgive, a brand new start.
We are God’s Temple!

So, be repentant, re-born in Jesus;
Bought at a price; you are His temple;
Keep being filled, by God’s Spirit:
By ‘self-dying’ daily, be His example.
Wrestling, or Resting Within?

Exchanging bondage, for God’s freedom;
No longer burdened, with our cares;
Since taking Jesus’ yoke, upon me;
Know peace and rest, He freely shares.
By Faith, Count It All Joy

“For they were strangers, and pilgrims;
On earth to seek, a heavenly home”;
May we likewise, walk by faith ;
Count all our trials, with joy unknown.
We’re Made in God’s Image

To see our purpose, to honor God
Not pursuing, fleeting pleasures
Rather living, for our LORD
Thro’ faith in Jesus, now His treasure.
When Will Churches, Equip for Ministry?

Shared God’s Word, & prayed in earnest
Obeyed, went forth, to make disciples
But modern churches, don’t multiply
Don’t see disciple-making, as vital!
Casting All Your Cares

Yes, cast upon Him, give all to God;
He does not want you, burdened down;
Instead of hoarding, ruminating;
Cast each burden, no longer bound.
Who Do We Embody?

For you were bought, at a price;
Therefore, glorify God in your body;
And in your spirit, which are God’s;
Yes, know the LORD we’re to embody.
Dying Churches and Denominations

Instead of “Modern Churchianity”
May we return to bible teaching,
Obeying Jesus, disciple-making,
For we are failing, rarely outreaching.
Selecting a Scriptural Church

So come to church, not to network;
But be discipled, to obey
Learn commitment, to God’s Word;
Go make disciples, in Jesus’ way.
