Instead count your blessings
Turn daily to God
Be grateful and thankful
For all you have got.

God tells us, be filled
With His Spirit, within
But except we repent
Lies a barrier, of sin.

Into the bushes
Yet God surely guarded
As with Moses, midst bushes.

At Which Fire Do You Stand?

And what of yourself
At which fire do you stand
That kindled by God
Or the work of man’s hand?

A Little Leaven

So, wait upon God
Lord, show me the leaven
To purge, make me pure
On earth, as in heaven.
