Our Garden

Our life is a garden
We tend, and we sow
Bright flowers, or weeds
We choose what will grow.

May our leaders, seek God’s wineskins
A fresh vison of Jesus’ call
A holy people, disciple-making
Going forth and reaching all.

So, give and will be given you
Good measure, pressed down
Shaken together, running over
Our giving surely, turns around.

Fulfilling the Scriptures
Yeshua, God’s Son
Atones for our sins
Thro’ Him, battles are won.

So sinful, so selfish
I surrender my all
Holy Spirit, come fill
May You Lord, have all.

So when God views our heart
Our innermost being
Is there fruit in our lives?
Are we abiding, or leaving?

Seek the fruits of God’s Spirit
Find a fellowship, in revival
Saints maturing, multiplying
Going forth, to make disciples.

Know Christ is our Rock
Our beginning and end
Our faith wholly rests
On the Savior, God sent.

Instead of an act
Prepared by our pride
We need to admit
We are failures inside.

Jesus told us, deny self
And take up our cross
Come follow after Him
Count all else as loss.
