Overcoming Attitudes

So, friend do drink deeply
Of His living waters, each day
That your mind-set, your attitude
Is to but love, and obey.

Our life is a garden
We tend, and we sow
Bright flowers, or weeds
We choose what will grow.

No longer to struggle
In life’s battles, then lose
A new creature in Christ
For His glory, to use.

Thirst for Jesus’, living waters
And walk in God’s Spirit
Set your mind on His Word
“LORD, this vessel, daily fill it”.

A faith based on facts
So fully supported
In the LORD God, eternal
Who created and ordered.

Am longing, Your Spirit
May take full control
Wholly dwelling and filling
Am yielding, my whole.

if we forgive others
For their trespasses against us
Our Father forgives us
Will cleanse us, thro’ Jesus.

Seek the fruits of God’s Spirit
Find a fellowship, in revival
Saints maturing, multiplying
Going forth, to make disciples.

For this vessel is thirsty
I come open, and empty
O Lord, come and fill
From Your rivers of plenty.

So, stop looking to people
To meet all you’re needing
Since God will supply
More praying, and believing!
