Seek an ‘Impossible’ Faith

An ‘impossible’ faith
Grows from passion within
A great vision of God
And a battle to win.

Do send an awakening
We yearn Your arrival
Lost souls born anew
Send renewal, revival.

“Here is Love” a hymn beloved
Widely sung, as God began
Pouring out, His mighty Spirit
Thro’ Evan Roberts, a Welshman.

Yes Lord, prune my branch
To be all You desire
For my longing and yearning
Is to lift You up, higher.

Yes, so strengthened in faith
That I pray, and not stray
Neither wander, nor slip
But only trust You, and obey.

May our leaders, seek God’s wineskins
A fresh vison of Jesus’ call
A holy people, disciple-making
Going forth and reaching all.

Control and compel me
Conform me to Christ
Consume all the dross
His blood has sufficed.

So, renew and revive us
Restore us, we pray
Send the fire of Your Presence
Come down Lord, this day.

So, in prayer think not ‘how’
But rather, center on ‘Who’
‘Tis the God, of all creation
Who is listening to you.

Am longing, Your Spirit
May take full control
Wholly dwelling and filling
Am yielding, my whole.
