May Your People Rise!

Yes, pray with passion, for the people;
To grow in zeal, for the LORD;
Be surrendered, emptied vessels;
Awaiting Jesus, His Spirit poured.
Expectations, Preparations for All Believers

May churches multiply, have vision;
Equip and train, mentor God’s people;
Send them forth, to reproduce;
Not merely sat, beneath a steeple.
A Modern Pharisee or Disciple? (Rule-Keepers or Jesus Believers?)

Are using Scripture, not as a mirror;
But as a weapon, to beat others;
And so, break God’s commands;
For they fail, to love another.
My Godly Wife

Her family, above fame;
Godliness, not success;
Let us arise and esteem her;
For this wife, is the best.
A Controlling Spirit

You find a deep need;
To have your own way;
So, the plans of all others;
Must follow your say.
Will We Obey?

Yet many churches, too clergy centered
The ‘Lay-people’, passive spectators
In church activities, weekly rituals
But not discipled, equipped as laborers.
Not Just a Branch

With no beauty in us
But the fruit that we bear
Keep abiding and growing
That God’s glory we share.
Delight Yourself in the LORD

Do we so, desire God;
To awaken, and fill us;
Are we hungry, and thirsty;
To draw nearer, to Jesus?
Suffering and God’s Sovereignty

Yes, God promises us His grace;
Sufficient, for our hour;
His strength, is made perfect;
In our weakness, His power.
Don’t Succumb!

So listen not, to your feelings;
No dark thoughts, in your mind;
Set your heart, and call on Jesus;
Claim His Word, in prayer remind.
