Messiah- a Lamb and a Lion

Sin separates us, from the LORD,
The Lamb of God, our sin did pay,
While those who scoff, reject the Lamb,
Before the Judge, will pay that Day.

Growing Antisemitism

Thro’ Jewish Scriptures, a Jewish Savior;
God has spread, His Good News;
All His covenants, promises;
God has spoken, through the Jews.

Understanding Antisemitism

For God’s covenant, promises;
To Abram, his descendants;
God will defeat, fulfill His Word;
Will overcome, for His remnant.

Not Converted but Completed

Came to realize, I’m not converted;
Believing Jesus, is my Messiah;
Now instead, I’m completed;
My heart circumcised, as God requires.

Rabbinical Misunderstanding of Messiah

For as with Talmud, Rabbis wandered;
Kept adding their interpretations;
Failed to take, God at His Word;
His prophecies, His clear intentions.

Our Atonement

“For it’s not possible, the blood of bulls;
And goats, could take away sins,”
So, God had offered His own Son;
That Man’s eternal atonement, begins.

Owe My All, to Him Alone

From my background, as a Jew-
Rabbinical burdens, rules and rites-
But our Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus-
Fulfilled the prophets, brought me light.

My Rejection

Recalling Jesus, despised, rejected
Calls us, come follow Him
He knows well, all our sorrows
He gives us grace, comforts within.

Keeping Kosher?

Then Rabbi Yeshua, our Messiah
Replied: “Do you not perceive
Whatever enters a man from outside
Cannot defile him”…be not deceived.

Day of Atonement

Yet Yom Kippur, now has no offering
Cannot atone, no perfect ram
For Yeshua, The Mashiach
Already came, fulfilled God’s plan.
