A Jewish Testimony
So now a Jew, complete;
A circumcised, new heart;
No longer striving, to keep laws;
Messiah fulfilled, on my part!
Rabbinical Misunderstanding of Messiah
For as with Talmud, Rabbis wandered;
Kept adding their interpretations;
Failed to take, God at His Word;
His prophecies, His clear intentions.
From Orthodox Rabbinical, to Messianic Jew
Saw Torah prophecies, all fulfilled;
Jesus’ atonement, our true Messiah;
By His blood, our sin cleansed;
Be raised with Him, our God’s desire.
“The Church of Equipping” : Disciple-Making
With the goal, to build up others,
All be accountable, committing,
All be equipped, for work of ministry,
Not just passive, pew sitting.
Our Atonement
“For it’s not possible, the blood of bulls;
And goats, could take away sins,”
So, God had offered His own Son;
That Man’s eternal atonement, begins.
Owe My All, to Him Alone
From my background, as a Jew-
Rabbinical burdens, rules and rites-
But our Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus-
Fulfilled the prophets, brought me light.
Rabbinical Writings or God’s Word?
With destruction, of the Temple
No more offerings, blood sacrifice
Instead of faith, in God’s salvation
Rabbis decided ‘works’, will suffice.
My Rejection
Recalling Jesus, despised, rejected
Calls us, come follow Him
He knows well, all our sorrows
He gives us grace, comforts within.
A Victim, a Victor or Vector?
So depending, not on others
Their affirmation and praise
And no matter our lot
Be a God-Vector, always.
Is the Modern Church Biblical?
Since the church, is Christ’s body
We’re His temple, a living stone
But, seems modern church goals
Miss disciple making, so little known.
