Feelings Fade

So, if caught in a valley
Set your mind on Him
Stay faithful, and follow
Ask He fill you within.

The world, thro’ its culture
The flesh, and our feelings
The devil’s deceptions
Temptations, so appealing.

Yes, be an encourager
With a Barnabus heart
All are called to encourage
Not criticize, tear apart.

Are you caught up with ‘life’
Desires of the flesh
Deceived by the devil
Let this world enmesh?

In exchange for your sin
He will give you, His Spirit
Be discontented, no longer
Yield your life, He will fill it.

Yet contentment is found
In Christ, our true rest
Satisfied, despite trials
Knowing God, seeks our best.

God gives, each a carton
Our life journey begins
A body without
Soul and spirit within.

Jesus taught, not all saying
“Lord, Lord”, enter heaven
Just those doing the will
Of His Father in heaven.

Be strong and courageous
Obey the Lord God
Fulfilling His Word
Without needing a prod.

Be strong in the LORD
Resolve to do right
Ever fearing our God
Daily walk in His light.
