All, are Born Disabled
Our bodies aren’t perfect
Nor is our soul
For sin has disabled
No one is born whole.
A Tale of Two Brothers
So younger or older
Both need to repent
Whether passion or pride
Instead, live as Father meant.
Forgive and Forgo
God has called us to love
With all of our heart
When offenders, then hurt us
To forgive, on our part.
Wholly Organic?
Let God’s Word, be your food
Like Jeremiah, of old
Bringing joy, and rejoicing
As your heart, overflows.
Your Inner Thirst
Do you drink from the fount
That never runs dry
Living waters that flow
And forever, satisfy?
Waiting for Apologies?
“If you won’t forgive
God won’t forgive you”.
Strong words from the Master
Yet certain and true.
Boot-Lessons
Know our days upon earth
Our stewardship of time
All our talents and treasures
Belong to the Divine.
Rebelling or Reaping?
So, we likewise must repent
Of rebelling, and sleeping
We should rather, seek God
Not self-serving, but reaping.
Saying or Obeying?
And here, Jesus reminds
It’s not what we say
Our words can be empty
It is whether, we obey.
Parable of the Sower
Only those in good soil
Their hearts, noble and good
Obey, bear much fruit
With patience, withstood.
