Faith in God, not the Flesh

And learn daily to forgive
Reflecting God’s love
For His goodness and kindness
Daily depend, from above.

And know, that these hurts
In your heart, cause resentment
So, ensure you forgive
Claim His forgiveness, be repentant.

God declared unto Abram
I will bless those, who bless you
And I will curse him, who curses you
All families on earth, blessed thro’ you.

And Modern Israel again
Of these words, must take heed
Yet likewise, on our journey
We too also, have need.

Why do You stand
Afar off, O LORD?
Why do You hide
Amidst troubles, outpoured?

Fully trusting God’s promises
With obedience to His word
Being steadfastness in prayer
By circumstances, undeterred.

Stay thankful, midst trials
See the sufferings, we face
When trusting in Jesus
Become blessings, by grace.

For when tempted, God provides
A way out, an escape
That we’re able, to endure
So let us learn, avoid mistakes.

Once we’re strong in the Lord
And the power of His might
In the armor of God
Each temptation takes flight.

But in place of God’s lordship
Satan swiftly deceived
Appealed to their senses
Denied truths, God revealed.
