Still Grasping Grievances, or Set Free?

So, we lift every hurt
Release all, to Him
Now laid upon Christ
Walk in grace, not sin.

And here, Jesus reminds
It’s not what we say
Our words can be empty
It is whether, we obey.

Yes LORD, open doors
Despite such oppression
Midst violence and fear
Make Somalia, Your possession.

LORD, open their eyes
Set North Koreans free
From darkness to light May their multitudes see.

Are we pouting, or praising
Is our attitude, right?
Are we thankless or thankful
When we’re out of sight?

Man is driven by sin
So focused, enticed
Instead, see God’s perspective
Stay centered, on Christ.

Then, instead of the darkness
We rather, shine bright
In place of the evil
Share His truth and light.

His bloodshed, our new birth
By God’s Spirit, divine
From death, now resurrection
LORD, all the glory is Thine!

So be ready, prepare
For our freedom is fading
Our faith is attacked
Great wickedness, invading.

If you are willing, obedient
The good you shall eat
But if you refuse and rebel
…. be devoured, by defeat.
