As His sacrifice, living
Must be holy, and pure
For we dare not present
If defiled, and impure.

His bloodshed, our new birth
By God’s Spirit, divine
From death, now resurrection
LORD, all the glory is Thine!

So be ready, prepare
For our freedom is fading
Our faith is attacked
Great wickedness, invading.

And so, love not the world
Nor selfishness, greed
Seek God’s glory alone
Let His Spirit, always lead.

Have you learnt to give thanks
Though adversities grow
Can you trust, the Lord God
When no answers show?

Jesus taught us to love
Not just neighbors, but foes
Yes, to love our enemies
If even cursing…bless those.

Have you learnt to release
Every burden you bear
Let go of each weight
And sin, to God’s care.

Offer all, at His altar
Our bodies, He purchased
As living sacrifices, holy
Well pleasing… our service.

Know hurts to our heart
Must be forgiven
Our pain, and revenge
We’re in our own ‘prison’.

May our wants and our will
Be in line, with the Lord
Lest our hearts become hard
And resentments, are stored.
