Be One Little Light

So, let our little light
Shine forth, for God’s truth
Be His beacon, His lighthouse
Amidst darkness, untruth.

Daily Mercies midst Afflictions

For His compassions, fail not
They are new each morning
Great is Your faithfulness
The LORD, is my portion.

Resist, When Tempted

Keep God’s Word, in our heart
Cry out to God, and resist
Resolve, I will obey
The Holy Spirit, will assist.

All Lives Matter

Not skin color, nor features
Since there’s one human race
Should be all about virtues
Sadly many, have misplaced

God Uses Man

So forsake selfish wants
Earthly pleasures and pressures
Instead “Here am I”
“LORD, You are my treasure.”

What Bugs You?

Yes, those bugs and frustrations
God allows, each our way
Are to get our attention
Cause us turn, and obey.

So Near…So Far (The Inner…or Outer)

The soldiers were gambling
For Jesus’ garments to win
Concerned with the outer
So blind to their sin.

A Pure Heart

God calls us to love
Have a heart that is pure
Not blemished, nor selfish
Repentant, in Him secure.

Believing Lies

The deception of Satan
Is no different today
He appeals to our thoughts
To our desires, lead us astray.

Boldness and Courage

Recall, God has commanded
We be strong, of good courage
Are not afraid, nor dismayed
Nor are we discouraged.
