Expectations, Preparations for All Believers

May churches multiply, have vision;
Equip and train, mentor God’s people;
Send them forth, to reproduce;
Not merely sat, beneath a steeple.
Will We Obey?

Yet many churches, too clergy centered
The ‘Lay-people’, passive spectators
In church activities, weekly rituals
But not discipled, equipped as laborers.
Kingdom People

So, our worldview and meaning;
Our purpose and goal;
To seek first, His kingdom;
Glorify God, reach lost souls.
Follow Jesus’ Training

So instead, of mere listeners
Commit, to be a doer
Learn to go, and make disciples
And be not merely, a knower.
Biblical vs Modern Church Planting

Yes all must go, and share the Gospel;
Leave the steeple, to reach lost people;
Must start obeying, Jesus’ commands;
Be not ashamed, nor spiritually feeble.
Where are the Equipping Churches?

We’re not equipping the saints
For the work of the ministry
Instead our focus, polished preaching
Yet, we’re not coming to His unity.
God’s Biblical Vision for Our Churches: Maintaining or Multiplying?

For God’s glory, not man’s controlling;
But our churches, be multiplying;
Equip the saints, to reproduce;
From our meetings, start applying.
What Are Churches Producing?

So, in place of passive sitters;
Stop repeating, and mistaking;
Follow Jesus, in His steps;
Learn and teach, disciple-making.
Our Imprinting, as a Believer

We must seek, God will lead;
Learn from mentors, start partaking;
Equipping us, for this ministry;
Obey, go forth, disciple-making.
Our Vision-Adding or Multiplying?

For we’re not seeing, Jesus’ vision;
The Great Commission, multiplying;
Need disciple makers, not ‘spectators’;
Yet sadly churches, aren’t applying.
