Are you praying and seeking
That God opens doors
To make contact, connect
Ask His Spirit, outpour?

Our motives so matter
To take, or to give
Self-serving, or God’s glory
For what do we live?

While Christians worldwide
Too often, stay in church pews
Despite Jesus’ Great Commission
Those who go, are so few.

Thro’ His Spirit, God gives
In His people, are sown
Differing talents and gifts
That His glory, be known.

So, do learn from Isaiah
Allow God make you pure
Are then ready, for God’s sending
See His Spirit, out-poured.

May our leaders, seek God’s wineskins
A fresh vison of Jesus’ call
A holy people, disciple-making
Going forth and reaching all.

Control and compel me
Conform me to Christ
Consume all the dross
His blood has sufficed.

Yes, pray for God’s people
To share Christ with others
Their children and friends
For wisdom, undercover.

Our nation is filled
Churches lukewarm, some dead
Claiming they’re Christian
But God’s Spirit has fled.

For to live, or to die
In Christ, always gain
No matter the price
No matter the pain.
