Churchianity or Christianity?

We’re not equipping, with ‘how-to’
Nor teaching, Jesus’ way
Not mentoring, role-modeling
Not reproducing, to obey.

Modern Churches versus Home Churches

Yet Jesus left us, His great Commission
God’s strategy, to reach the world
Make disciples, not pew sitters
Teach them obey, His every word.

Jesus’ Commission, or Men’s Traditions?

If church planting or growing
Need both teaching, disciple training
Use Jesus’ template, to multiply
As we are sadly, sitting and failing.

How Jesus Disciples

From God’s Word, we also find
Discipleship is reproducing
Be wholly yielding, and outreaching
Not just head knowledge, but observing.

Church Leadership Ingredients

Look beyond, gifting and training
To know their heart, motivation
A vessel, wholly dedicated?
Or tainted needing, more consecration?

Churches Teach, but Don’t Disciple

One-on-one, in small groups
Much time, mentoring, Jesus discipled
Equipped and trained, ‘how’ to obey
To reproduce, go make disciples.

Renewing the Church

Seem so few, will die to self
So ask Jesus, to start using
My life holy, be His witness
Disciple-making, reproducing.

Doers, not just Hearers!

Yet sadly, churches look at numbers
In the pews, or at home gazing
Churches failing, how to mentor
Evangelizing, disciple making.

Teaching or Training?

To make disciples, who can battle
Train and teach, to keep obeying
Trained as ‘doers’, not just ‘hearers’
To multiply, disciple making.

Blessing Others

For we are called, to follow Jesus
His Great Commission, go multiply
Learn to witness, make more disciples
Jesus is with us, He will supply.
