Adversity? – God means it for good

And so, no matter our lot
Walk by faith, and not sight
Cling to God’s Word, His grace
Midst our darkness, His light.

So have we died with Christ
Our flesh on the Cross?
Are we carnal and selfish
Or count all things as loss?

So, in place of self-searching
And following our feelings
Rather obey the LORD
Be wise, wait upon His leading.

But blessed is the man
Who trusts in the LORD,
And whose hope, is the LORD
Shall see blessings out-poured.

“Now the just shall live by faith
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”
So, seek much faith, do not lack.

The heavens declare, God’s glory
The firmament, shows His handiwork
Without speech, nor language
Yet sends a message, clearly heard.

Since we were purchased, by His blood
The price, now fully paid
Sealed and stamped for eternity
We’re counted righteous, be not afraid.

“To revive the spirit, of the humble
Revive the heart, of those contrite”
Our Master Potter, can reshape
We His clay, remold aright.

God declared unto Abram
I will bless those, who bless you
And I will curse him, who curses you
All families on earth, blessed thro’ you.

Learn from Jesus, He set boundaries
Offered help, if ears were open
From the Pharisees, to His disciples
With all, that He had spoken.
