A Father’s Example

Full of mercy and grace;
Ever keeps to His word;
So selfless and serving;
Such a Father, undeserved.

And so therefore, we owe all;
To our God, who gives us light;
To walk by faith, not by our flesh;
So seek God’s light… this holy night.

Choose God’s Spirit, within us;
Come fill and guide me, each day;
Yes, always choose His will;
Don’t rebel, in old ways.

Here, four key basic facts;
Where science is disproving;
Of men’s ideas, of evolution;
But a Designer, clearly proving.

Be not ashamed, of the Gospel;
‘Tis the power of God;
To salvation for everyone;
Who believes, responds.

So follow not, our feelings, ways
And neither follow, the flock
Nor false shepherds, deceiving
With the Good Shepherd, alone walk .

Recalling Jesus, despised, rejected
Calls us, come follow Him
He knows well, all our sorrows
He gives us grace, comforts within.

So choose each day, to keep abiding
Choose each day, set thoughts above
Choose each day, forgive, show grace
Choose each day, share Jesus’ love.

And know, that these hurts
In your heart, cause resentment
So, ensure you forgive
Claim His forgiveness, be repentant.

Jesus taught us to pray
To our Father in heaven
For His kingdom and will
And not living, for leaven.
