My Story, all for God’s Glory

So while on earth, achieve God’s goals,
Wholly surrendered, obeying Jesus,
A selfless life, fulfil God’s plan
Ever certain, He is with us.

Be like the ‘Wise-Men’, seeking Jesus,
Not chasing wealth of this world,
But seeking first, His kingdom,
May we obey, all Jesus’ words.

And so instead, of our resentment,
Ignore offenses, forgive their views,
Be not bound, by negativity,
Instead in love, share His Good News.

Turn your fears, into faith;
Your adversity, to adventure;
Claim God’s promises, believe;
Jesus’ victory, on your venture.

Let us be pleasing to our God
Bringing to Him, more glory
Lest instead, we feed our flesh
Dishonor God, with our story.

So be faithful, available;
Be equipped and stand;
In your corner, speak out;
Spread God’s Truths, wide expand.

So not drawn, to death, destruction;
Choose to love, and to forgive;
God’s Word, His Spirit, guiding;
How to bless, and freely give.

And so do choose, to be forgiving;
To let go, of negative feelings;
Be replaced by God’s grace;
Let His love, bring in us healing.

So, are we acting out of love?
Or busy judging, criticizing;
Fault-finding, others’ failures;
Is our motive, their sanctifying?

Choose God’s Spirit, within us;
Come fill and guide me, each day;
Yes, always choose His will;
Don’t rebel, in old ways.
