Agape Love

Though we love to be loved
If despised, love abides
For agape love, is of God
And such love overrides.
Loveless or Loving?

Instead, Jesus commands us
To love, even our foe
So live not, based on feelings
Obey Jesus, and grow.
A Rusty Old Car

For He saw we were broken
Like the rusty old shell
But in love He redeemed
From the scrapyard of hell.
Be a Bearer, not a Burden

How do you treat others
As a giver, or taker?
To unburden your load
Or to share, God’s favors?
Send The Fire

Come fill, and anoint us
Rooted, grounded in love
Comprehending the greatness
Of Jesus love, from above.
Pursued by God’s Love

So compassionate, loving
So caring, keeps seeking
Speaks into men’s hearts
So, surrender… stop fleeing.
Passover-First Fruits-Easter

On this ‘Feast of First Fruits’
A burnt and grain offering
Foreshadowing Messiah
And His people, following.
None Other is Worthy

Stepping down out of heaven
To redeem fallen sinners
Those helpless and hopeless
Turns losers, to winners.
Loving may mean Suffering

While not seeking, to suffer
We must lift Jesus, high
Wholly trust Him, and know
Sufficient grace, He’ll supply.
Lessons on Forgiveness

So, restoring relationships
In place of cancellation
No longer angry, resentful
God’s loving, transformation.
