Lord, I Enter Your Gates

Lord, I enter Your gates
And come into Your courts
With thanksgiving and praise
To worship You, I have sought.

Who can compare
With our God above?
Jesus’ glory and beauty
Such unspeakable love.

We scarcely take in
The edge of His ways
The infinite One
Ancient Ruler of Days.

For this vessel is thirsty
I come open, and empty
O Lord, come and fill
From Your rivers of plenty.

May music bring glory
And words, deep inspire
Cause our hearts, seek God
Always lift Him up, higher.

Be exalted O Lord
We lift You on high
Your Name above all
Upon You, all rely.
