A Faithful Life…A Transformed Life

So, seek first God’s kingdom
His righteousness, daily
Be filled by His Spirit
Spurn sin, as our enemy.

Start a fire, LORD we ask
And burn up the dross
Great repentance and turning
Before yet more, are lost.

Yes, come find rest
Your soul, respite
My yoke is easy
My burden, light.

As our lighthouse, our beacon
We can find the way
Jesus offers, eternal hope
Will we trust, and obey?

This Christmas, remember
The gift that God gave
His beloved dear Son
To seek and to save.

So, ponder sin’s price
Such suffering, separation
Jesus’ death on a cross
For His own creation.

Know His grace is sufficient
Despite darkness and bleakness
Do abandon all to Jesus
Claim His power, in your weakness.

His bloodshed, our new birth
By God’s Spirit, divine
From death, now resurrection
LORD, all the glory is Thine!

So be ready, prepare
For our freedom is fading
Our faith is attacked
Great wickedness, invading.

Do protect each Believer
Amidst hardship, remoteness
Fill them with Your Presence
Grant wisdom and boldness.
