God’s Presence

Yes, yearning and longing
God’s presence, I desire
Not things of this world
But search for You, higher.

So not fixated on needs
Rather focused on Jesus
Believe God will supply
Be not anxious… He sees us.

So LORD, keep on breathing
Upon me, I pray
For that intimate walk
More of You, every day.

So choose not entertainment
To merely pass time
Instead seek the LORD
And know blessings sublime.

Only life-giving waters
From Jesus, make whole
While the water, man digs
Satisfy not the soul.

Descend Holy Spirit
Come fill me each day
Be poured on Your servant
But to follow Your way.

Deeper, yet deeper
Drawn deeper still more
Am so devoted, desirous
Of Your presence, O Lord.

Breathe again, LORD
In this vessel of clay
Holy Spirit, come fill me
And use me, each day.

Bless the LORD, at all times
His praise, endlessly voice
My soul boasts in Him
The humble hear, and rejoice.

Abba, my Father
I’m grafted by grace
Now part of Your family
We speak face to face.
