Ashamed of the Gospel?

If we’re ashamed of Jesus;
And of His words, He warns;
The Son of Man, will be ashamed;
Of each of us, when He returns.

So, are we acting out of love?
Or busy judging, criticizing;
Fault-finding, others’ failures;
Is our motive, their sanctifying?

Choose God’s Spirit, within us;
Come fill and guide me, each day;
Yes, always choose His will;
Don’t rebel, in old ways.

Full of mercy and grace;
Ever keeps to His word;
So selfless and serving;
Such a Father, undeserved.

As we abide in Christ Jesus;
Naught separates us, from God’s love;
For in Christ Jesus, we are sealed;
With God’s Spirit, from above.

Have you entered God’s presence;
Of quiet rest, and peace;
To abide in Christ Jesus;
From ‘self’, be released?

We overlook, and we forgive;
Daily to focus, on God’s Word;
Not others failures, flaws and falls
But walk by grace, God’s love out-poured.

So, grow your faith, pleasing God;
Open wide your mouth, Lord fill it;
Believing God, is all able;
For Your glory, send Your Spirit!

Therefore, child of the King;
Do repent, each hidden sin;
Obey, rid of all bitterness;
Seek His love, filled within.

They call it, street art;
But this van is ‘perfecta’;
Tires are terrific;
The engine, is extra.
