Where is Your Trust?

But blessed is the man
Who trusts in the LORD,
And whose hope, is the LORD
Shall see blessings out-poured.

The heavens declare, God’s glory
The firmament, shows His handiwork
Without speech, nor language
Yet sends a message, clearly heard.

Since we were purchased, by His blood
The price, now fully paid
Sealed and stamped for eternity
We’re counted righteous, be not afraid.

For parents aren’t perfect
They come with their baggage
May kids grow, self-examine
To avoid long-term damage.

God declared unto Abram
I will bless those, who bless you
And I will curse him, who curses you
All families on earth, blessed thro’ you.

Don’t harden your heart
Staying stubborn, defiant
With grievances, grudges
Hard-headed, self-reliant.

Yes, we each are creative
Thro’ our creation, proclaim.
God’s glory and honor
And do all in His Name.

Not to dwell, on sin and failure
Rather focus, on the LORD
See beyond, my upset feelings
Trusting God, see blessings poured.

So, seek first God’s kingdom
His righteousness, daily
Be filled by His Spirit
Spurn sin, as our enemy.

Tho’ many called, few are chosen
The self-righteous, are cast out
Into outer darkness
All the unclean, not allowed.
