Our FAITH…Little or Great?

Not little faith, with self-hindering;
But great faith, wholly trusting;
Be not burdened with our baggage;
But fully yielded, Jesus entrusting.

Fix our free will, on God’s will;
Not to follow, our fallen nature;
Walk by faith, not by our feelings;
Obey God’s Word, our selfless Savior.

Such love, that passes knowledge
With which, you may be filled
With all the fullness of God
Through His Spirit, be fulfilled.

And so, anxiety and depression;
Two perspectives, two worldviews;
Based on men, or God’s Word;
Which one, will you choose?

With unending persecution;
Nigerian leaders do not care;
May we commit, to ceaseless praying;
To see our God, deliver there.

We do not walk, based on our past;
Nor follow, old familiar feelings;
But live in Jesus’ Word, His love;
See transformation, our God is healing.

So follow not, our feelings, ways
And neither follow, the flock
Nor false shepherds, deceiving
With the Good Shepherd, alone walk .

Memorizing, meditating,
Obey God’s Word, and constant prayer,
Total commitment to the LORD,
Be walking closer… and Jesus share!

Yes, may we wrestle, not let go
Without God’s blessing, do not cease
But keep on praying, persisting
Do not give up, and do not leave.

And now abide, faith, hope and love
Of these three; the greatest love
Demonstrated, in Christ Jesus
His selfless sacrifice, from above.
