God’s Silence and Refining

“But He knows, the way I take;
When He has tested me;
I shall come forth as gold;
For Job trusted, tho’ couldn’t see.

Yes daily die, to fleshly self;
Start constant living, in Christ;
Be no longer, self-centered;
Now in Christ, wholly sufficed.

So, instead of our choosing;
Ask God, pick and place;
Each thread of our life;
All be a picture, of His grace.

I am blessed, beyond all measure;
I’m created for God’s glory;
I’m living for Him, not myself;
I’m daily sharing, His wondrous story!

His certain faith, no needed visit;
His certain faith, no needed touch;
His certain faith, just Jesus’ word;
Have certain faith…let us trust!

“To love our neighbor, as ourself”;
But if refusing, to forgive them;
“Your Father won’t, forgive your sins”;
So, ask for grace, don’t condemn them!

So, cease doubting, worrying;
Claim those promises God said;
Then from little faith, grow;
To great faith, instead!

So, we love and forgive;
All the wrongs, we’ve faced;
We’re reminded, of our sin;
How God freely, showed us grace.

So full surrender, full obedience;
Rebuke all ‘foes’… His Spirit fill;
With great faith, do not doubt;
Be not hindering, God’s will.

Learn to lean and to cast;
All our cares, upon Him;
Not weighed down with worry;
We’ve the Holy Spirit, within!
