The Good Shepherd

The LORD is my shepherd
I shall never want
Will provide and guide
Yes, my living font.

But, if our vision is great
Let us therefore, come boldly
To His throne of grace
To obtain mercy from God
Come wholly rest, in His grace.

God allows what He hates
To achieve what He loves
He permits man to sink
That men seek Him above.

His bloodshed, our new birth
By God’s Spirit, divine
From death, now resurrection
LORD, all the glory is Thine!

So be ready, prepare
For our freedom is fading
Our faith is attacked
Great wickedness, invading.

Do protect each Believer
Amidst hardship, remoteness
Fill them with Your Presence
Grant wisdom and boldness.

God assures we shall pass
Yes, thru’ deep waters go
But He will be with us
They shall not overflow.

And so, love not the world
Nor selfishness, greed
Seek God’s glory alone
Let His Spirit, always lead.

So too, claim Christ’s victory
For with Him, you are bound
Do wait on the LORD
As His child, He surrounds.
