Your God Is Too Small
Your life is too focused
Your God is too small
Look up and beyond
And answer His call.
All Sufficient, All the Way
Cease striving for self
But yielding my all
Surrender each part
My will, for His call.
A Rusty Old Car
For He saw we were broken
Like the rusty old shell
But in love He redeemed
From the scrapyard of hell.
The ‘Blessed Way’
And should our feet, and road seem hid
Those times are truly sweet
When all we have, is God alone
To guide our steps, oft’ steep.
Abundance of Grace
If God cares for the sparrow
How much more then, for me
For He’s loving and watchful
And His eye, ever sees.
Are You Pressing On?
Are you pressing on upward
To reach higher ground
Are you seeking the Lord
In His presence be found?
Forgive and Forgo
God has called us to love
With all of our heart
When offenders, then hurt us
To forgive, on our part.
Forgivers or Sufferers?
Since we all get offended
And respond to each other
To forgive or avenge?
God’s love, or we suffer?
Come unto Me
Yes, come find rest
Your soul, respite
My yoke is easy
My burden, light.
Willing to Wait?
Are we willing to wait
In the darkness, no light?
No hope, but the LORD
Know in you, He delights.
