Don’t Harden Your Heart

Don’t harden your heart
Staying stubborn, defiant
With grievances, grudges
Hard-headed, self-reliant.
Psalm 37:1-12. Commit Your Way to the LORD

Rest in Him, and wait patiently
Fret not o’er those who prosper
Those working wicked ways
Whose works are improper.
Watching and Waiting

Be ever ready for His coming
Though we know not the hour
But be His faithful, wise steward
Await His blessings, to shower.
Temptations

Once we’re strong in the Lord
And the power of His might
In the armor of God
Each temptation takes flight.
Living the Blessed Life

Blessed is the man
Who does not walk
In ungodly counsel
But ignores, such talk.
Be a Finisher…Gideon’s Downfall

But then sadly, he succumbed
Asked for earrings, from his plunder
Israel gave him much gold
He made an ephod, an evil blunder.
His Rest and Peace

Our life’s full of troubles
Tribulations, each day
Yet instead of our resting
We keep struggling, our way.
Our Worship – Accepted or Rejected

But washed clean, before we offer
As in the Tabernacle, with laver
Now Jesus’ blood, still sanctifies
So, our heart and offerings, find favor.
Faith or Frustrations?

Not to dwell, on sin and failure
Rather focus, on the LORD
See beyond, my upset feelings
Trusting God, see blessings poured.
But To Thy Name

Not to us, O Lord
But all the glory, Thine
Unto Thy Name, praise and thanks
For every gift, divine.
