God’s Righteous Anger, yet Mercy
God poured forth wrath
For Israel had strayed
Her heart, so adulterous
Walked her own way.
God Will Restore
“Turn to Me, with all your heart
With fasting and weeping
Rend your heart, not garments
Return to God, believing”.
Facing Rejection
So, be bound not, by feelings
Trust God all the way
To forgive, when rejected
Jesus forgives you, each day.
Do We See Jesus?
Perfected through suffering
Captain of our salvation
Saved many thro’ affliction
Bought our sanctification.
Deeper Yet Deeper
Deeper, yet deeper
Drawn deeper still more
Am so devoted, desirous
Of Your presence, O Lord.
Daily Repent
Do repent of all evil
Ungodly behavior
Daily dying to self
To abide in the Savior.
Come Before God
When we come before God
Like Isaiah of old
With lips so unclean
‘Til touched by a coal.
Call on the LORD
Yes, obeying God’s Word
Requesting He come
And answer your cries
Through Jesus, God’s Son.
An Accuser or Forgiver?
So that on Judgment Day
Am counted righteous, as He
Judged pure, through Jesus
And by His Spirit, set free.
