LORD, Draw Me Nearer

LORD send conviction, lest I wander,
Discipline me, if I stray,
Take me deeper, draw me nearer,
To ever hunger, and obey.

My Story, all for God’s Glory

So while on earth, achieve God’s goals,
Wholly surrendered, obeying Jesus,
A selfless life, fulfil God’s plan
Ever certain, He is with us.

Our Awareness of God

Leads to a sense, of great dependence,
Accountability, to know God’s essence,
A deepening, personal relationship,
Daily abide, live in His presence.

By Faith

Yes by faith, not pew spectators,
But by faith, become His laborer,
Not wrapped up, in our own lives,
But by faith, obey the Savior.

Desperate for God Daily

When obeying, we lay hold,
We no longer, live old ways,
With now, agape love to give,
Comes from Christ Jesus, every day!

Empty Rituals or Jesus?

While Jesus said, “I am the way,
The truth, and the life,
No one comes to the Father,
Except through Me”….alone suffice.

Increase our Faith

So, with mustard seed faith,
Ask God, to move mountains,
Claim by faith, with deep assurance,
He can open up, dry fountains.

Longing for His Likeness

Like David, daily seek the LORD,
“I will see Your face in righteousness”,
His prayer and longing, be transformed,
“Be satisfied when in Your likeness.”

Faith Lessons, from Israel

Keep being filled, by God’s Spirit,
Walk by faith, ‘self’ daily dying,
Be not rebellious, nor self-serving,
Seek to obey, God’s Word applying.

Overcome Anger and Resentment

So choosing not, to stay angry;
Rather repent, and to forgive;
Know inner joy, and peace from God;
Obeying Jesus, the way to live!
