Our Awareness of God

Leads to a sense, of great dependence,
Accountability, to know God’s essence,
A deepening, personal relationship,
Daily abide, live in His presence.

So will we choose, to obey,
To live our lives, for His glory,
Selfless giving and forgiving,
Share Jesus’ love, declare His story?

Yes, let love be your litmus;
Both inside and out;
Your attitudes, interactions;
Spread God’s love, all about.

So ever, give thanks to our God;
Yes, all through Christ Jesus;
To spread His fragrance, and knowledge;
For in triumph, He always leads us!

Full of mercy and grace;
Ever keeps to His word;
So selfless and serving;
Such a Father, undeserved.

We overlook, and we forgive;
Daily to focus, on God’s Word;
Not others failures, flaws and falls
But walk by grace, God’s love out-poured.

So, we love and forgive;
All the wrongs, we’ve faced;
We’re reminded, of our sin;
How God freely, showed us grace.

We do not walk, based on our past;
Nor follow, old familiar feelings;
But live in Jesus’ Word, His love;
See transformation, our God is healing.

And now abide, faith, hope and love
Of these three; the greatest love
Demonstrated, in Christ Jesus
His selfless sacrifice, from above.

O so deep, and wide and vast
Such forgiveness, mercy, grace
Given freely, Jesus paid
To restore us, to see His face.
