Success or Failure in Life?

Know Judgment Day, God has established;
We give account, our lives on earth;
To walk by faith, obeying Jesus;
Or face God’s wrath… do seek rebirth!

And so be wise, do not be foolish;
Do trust the LORD, to lead your way;
Not self-reliant, nor lean on others;
Instead to trust God, and obey?

Yes, daily choose the LORD God;
Fleeing foolish, fleshly pleasures;
Choose His wisdom, not foolishness;
Not self-serving, be His treasure.

And so do ponder, on your life;
To daily depend, upon the LORD;
Or just rely, on your own efforts;
Be cursed & withered, or blessings poured?

LORD send conviction, lest I wander,
Discipline me, if I stray,
Take me deeper, draw me nearer,
To ever hunger, and obey.

So while on earth, achieve God’s goals,
Wholly surrendered, obeying Jesus,
A selfless life, fulfil God’s plan
Ever certain, He is with us.

Be like the ‘Wise-Men’, seeking Jesus,
Not chasing wealth of this world,
But seeking first, His kingdom,
May we obey, all Jesus’ words.

When obeying, we lay hold,
We no longer, live old ways,
With now, agape love to give,
Comes from Christ Jesus, every day!

While Jesus said, “I am the way,
The truth, and the life,
No one comes to the Father,
Except through Me”….alone suffice.

So choosing not, to stay angry;
Rather repent, and to forgive;
Know inner joy, and peace from God;
Obeying Jesus, the way to live!
