Are You Blessed or Cursed?

And so be wise, do not be foolish;
Do trust the LORD, to lead your way;
Not self-reliant, nor lean on others;
Instead to trust God, and obey?

Sin separates us, from the LORD,
The Lamb of God, our sin did pay,
While those who scoff, reject the Lamb,
Before the Judge, will pay that Day.

And so do ponder, on your life;
To daily depend, upon the LORD;
Or just rely, on your own efforts;
Be cursed & withered, or blessings poured?

So while on earth, achieve God’s goals,
Wholly surrendered, obeying Jesus,
A selfless life, fulfil God’s plan
Ever certain, He is with us.

Be like the ‘Wise-Men’, seeking Jesus,
Not chasing wealth of this world,
But seeking first, His kingdom,
May we obey, all Jesus’ words.

Yes by faith, not pew spectators,
But by faith, become His laborer,
Not wrapped up, in our own lives,
But by faith, obey the Savior.

So we must share, His Good News,
Walk in love, keep His commands,
As His disciples, obey go forth,
And make disciples, in all lands.

Keep being filled, by God’s Spirit,
Walk by faith, ‘self’ daily dying,
Be not rebellious, nor self-serving,
Seek to obey, God’s Word applying.

So choosing not, to stay angry;
Rather repent, and to forgive;
Know inner joy, and peace from God;
Obeying Jesus, the way to live!

Yes daily build, believing God;
Knowing He, burns up all dross;
Do walk by faith, always trusting;
Obeying Jesus, all else is loss.
