Our Rebellion- God’s Warning

If you are willing, obedient
The good you shall eat
But if you refuse and rebel
…. be devoured, by defeat.

Our motives so matter
To take, or to give
Self-serving, or God’s glory
For what do we live?

For what are you grasping
And groping in life
Is it riches and comfort
Success, without strife?

So, by faith offering God
What is pleasing to Him
Believe that He is
Rewards those seeking Him.

We all need, a true ‘compass’
To guide us through life
Will point, to God’s Truth
Amidst disputes and strife.

Yes, do follow God’s Word
Pray for His wisdom, in all
Call upon Him, to lead us
He surely answers our call.

So, one thing most needed
Amidst our busyness, each day
To surrender, keep calling
Asking LORD, show the way.

We may face many storms
Struggling and battling
So tempted to question
Lord, why is this happening?

As we worship our King
No distractions, nor despair
No trials, nor temptations
All perfect splendor, forever there.

Yes, God keeps His Word
Ever faithful and true
Stand firm, claim His promises
Given freely to you.
