Progressing from the Truth

Yes, weigh all the evidence
Read history, seek proof
For social soundness, and blessings
God’s Word, points to Truth.

But God is the LORD
So be patient and wait
He will answer on time
He’s not early, nor late.

We pray, a great harvest
Throughout Libya, it’s people
Muslims embracing Christ
Turned from darkness and evil.

Make streams in the desert
Turn the hearts of these people
To seek for you LORD
Turn to Jesus, from evil.

Are we pouting, or praising
Is our attitude, right?
Are we thankless or thankful
When we’re out of sight?

Man is driven by sin
So focused, enticed
Instead, see God’s perspective
Stay centered, on Christ.

His bloodshed, our new birth
By God’s Spirit, divine
From death, now resurrection
LORD, all the glory is Thine!

So be ready, prepare
For our freedom is fading
Our faith is attacked
Great wickedness, invading.

Do protect each Believer
Amidst hardship, remoteness
Fill them with Your Presence
Grant wisdom and boldness.
