The Message of Christmas

Stepped into our world
So broken, and bound
Brought light and salvation
That lost souls are found.

And while God offers good
Temptation brings evil
Understanding our choice
Be His righteous people.

Yes, pray for God’s Spirit
Come speak to your soul
Not rushing while reading
Lest from Him, time you stole.

Yes, weigh all the evidence
Read history, seek proof
For social soundness, and blessings
God’s Word, points to Truth.

And so, love not the world
Nor selfishness, greed
Seek God’s glory alone
Let His Spirit, always lead.

We all need, a true ‘compass’
To guide us through life
Will point, to God’s Truth
Amidst disputes and strife.

Yes, God keeps His Word
Ever faithful and true
Stand firm, claim His promises
Given freely to you.

… So, learn from God’s Word
God knew the injustice
With compassion, called Moses
Shared His plan, discussed this.

Scattered, through sin
The scriptures foretold
Now fulfilling prophesy
God’s Word of old.

Good Shepherd, do guide me
To make, heavenly choices
Yes, hearing Your will
Amongst many voices.
