Let Go, and Let God

“Not by might, nor by power
But by My Spirit” says the LORD
So that His will, be done
We then see, blessings poured.

Yet, our God uses foes
In revealing His plan
That Israel, be saved
Despite the evil of man.

My son, receive my words
Treasure my commands
Incline your ear to wisdom
Apply your heart, to understand.

Yes, keep praying and asking
For God’s kingdom to come
Despite men’s hardened hearts
Know His will, shall be done!

So daily put on, the new man
In God’s likeness, created
In true righteousness, holiness
Daily victorious, and elated.

God sets the rules
He is LORD of all
Our Designer, Creator
Before Him, we fall.

Once we’re strong in the Lord
And the power of His might
In the armor of God
Each temptation takes flight.

O the depth of His love
For the weakest and worn
For the honest of heart
God begins a new dawn.

So reach out, in His love
Be a blessing, start caring
Ask God, be His light
Be shining, and sharing.

The flames may have died
Fierce passions, ran dry
Many churches, dwindling
Are now asking why?
