God’s Love of Israel

“For the gifts and the calling;
Of God are irrevocable”;
Israel’s weeping, a great repentance;
Israel’s salvation is inevitable.

And so by faith, we firmly stand;
Even though, not understood;
Despite the darkness and distress;
God is working for our good.

And so do choose, to be forgiving;
To let go, of negative feelings;
Be replaced by God’s grace;
Let His love, bring in us healing.

So, are we acting out of love?
Or busy judging, criticizing;
Fault-finding, others’ failures;
Is our motive, their sanctifying?

Choose God’s Spirit, within us;
Come fill and guide me, each day;
Yes, always choose His will;
Don’t rebel, in old ways.

As we abide in Christ Jesus;
Naught separates us, from God’s love;
For in Christ Jesus, we are sealed;
With God’s Spirit, from above.

Have you entered God’s presence;
Of quiet rest, and peace;
To abide in Christ Jesus;
From ‘self’, be released?

Therefore, child of the King;
Do repent, each hidden sin;
Obey, rid of all bitterness;
Seek His love, filled within.

For He takes, the useless;
What others deplore;
In His Hand, always hope;
From these, brings so much more.

And so therefore, we owe all;
To our God, who gives us light;
To walk by faith, not by our flesh;
So seek God’s light… this holy night.
