My Jewish grandparents fled Poland and Romania to live in England. My parents were in the British Army during WW2 and I was born shortly after the war ended. I was raised in an orthodox Jewish family and community. Though practicing Rabbinical Judaism, I wanted to personally know God. As my video testimony explains I was at Medical School and came to know Jesus, the Messiah of the Jews and Gentiles. I had not known He was Jewish, and thought the New Testament was antisemitic.
This step of faith has increasingly transformed my life. After graduating and working in UK hospitals/clinics, I went to Israel and developed severe hepatitis after several months. While recovering, I moved to Haifa. I wrote the first poems and was married there. Due to further health problems we moved to Jerusalem and later moved to the States, then London, UK, before moving back to the USA. We visited Israel and moved back there with six, of our now eight children, for several years. We moved back to the USA and I have continued writing poems intermittently. Since retiring from medical practice, I regularly write poems.
A website made most sense to allow easier and wider sharing of the very many existing and new poems. All thanks and praise to our Creator who made us in His image, and inspires us to create. To God be the glory.
